June 18, 2019
Brown & James welcomes Claudia Magloire as a summer law clerk as a part of the Diverse Attorney Pipeline Project. DAPP is a non-profit organization that aims to diversify the legal profession by expanding opportunities for women of color.
In May, Magloire completed her first year at the Washington University School of Law where she is a Scholar in Law and member of the International Law Society and Black Law Student Association. She also serves as a research assistant and student note-taker at the school.
Magloire earned her Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri in 2016. While there, she was involved in the United Ambassadors, a Minority Student Recruitment Group, and was on the Dean’s List each semester.
Brown & James is a member of the ALFA International network of law firms, which is a partner of DAPP. As a part of this diversity initiative, law students who are women of color are paired with law firms and corporations for summer positions following their first year of law school.
