BTI names Brown & James a ‘Mover & Shaker’ in legal innovation and technology

The BTI Consulting Group, Inc. recognized Brown & James in its latest report, “BTI Legal Innovation and Technology Outlook 2019: Clients Rank Their Needs and Law Firm Performance.” For the report, corporate counsel ranked Brown & James as one of the top 23 percent of firms viewed as a “Mover & Shaker” that that has implemented bold, impactful, and client-centric innovation and technological strategies at the forefront of the legal profession.
BTI says innovation is more than new technology or new services – it is also finding new approaches to meeting client needs. Client needs encompass areas such as: access to information; streamlining work processes; sharing data without making a request; risk mitigation; and security and ease with technology.

The report is based on more than 350 interviews with top legal decision-makers at U.S. companies with more than $1 billion in annual revenue representing more than 15 industry segments.
In 2017, BTI named Brown & James to its Litigation Honor Roll. The firm was ranked among the report’s top 15 percent of law firms for product liability litigation.
