Ms. Moss began her career with Crosby, Heafey, Roach, and May (now ReedSmith) in Los Angeles handling broker liability and products liability matters. While she enjoyed the challenges of big law, she found she missed the ease of living in the Midwest and resettled in St. Louis just in time for the flood of 1993. Almost 25 years later, Ms. Moss now focuses her practice on advising and representing insurance companies on coverage-related matters in Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas and Oklahoma. In addition, she enjoys the challenges of complex litigation and frequently acts as defense counsel in large construction defect litigation.

Ms. Moss writes and speaks frequently on insurance-related topics, as well as diversity and inclusion issues. She particularly enjoys mentoring law students and young lawyers as they embark on their legal careers. Ms. Moss was chair of the firm’s associate training committee for a number of years and developed the training curriculum that is still in use. She was a co-founder of the firm’s Fifth Friday Women’s Initiative and worked to address retention of women attorneys.

When not practicing law, Ms. Moss serves on the Head’s Advisory Committee for Crossroads College Preparatory School, volunteers for Trailnet St. Louis and is an avid reader and novice knitter. She is an unofficial ambassador for the State of Maine and will gladly share her love for summers there.

She and her husband live in University City, Missouri, and their daughter attends Crossroads College Preparatory School and their son is at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts.
