Brown & James Principal Christine A. Vaporean Elected to BWORKS Board of Directors

Christine A. Vaporean, principal at Brown & James, was recently elected to the board of directors of BWORKS, a St. Louis non-profit whose mission is to increase the probability of positive life outcomes for at-risk youth in the St. Louis area.

Ms. Vaporean practices in Brown & James’ St. Louis office in their Employment and Health Care Liability practice areas. She serves as chair of the firm’s Hiring Committee and also serves on the firm’s Diversity Committee. She holds a J.D., M.A. and B.A. from Saint Louis University.

BWORKS serves as an umbrella organization, operating St. Louis BicycleWORKS, ByteWORKS, and BookWORKS, providing at-risk youth the incentive and opportunity to develop their academic, vocational, literacy and social skills through various programs such as Earn-A-Bike and Earn-A-Computer courses.
