Brown & James, P.C. is a Midwest regional law firm with over 100 lawyers. We are headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. Not every case should be tried. In fact, most lawsuits settle. We work with our clients to evaluate lawsuits early to help them determine which lawsuits should be tried, and which should be settled. We will never spend countless hours preparing a case for trial and then recommend a settlement at the courthouse steps. As soon as a case warrants a settlement offer, we advise our clients. If the case is one that should be tried, we will tell our clients that as well. Either way, if and when the case gets assigned for trial, we will be ready.
