Richard Gerber practices exclusively in the field of large loss
subrogation, handling large property subrogation cases involving product
liability, fire, explosions, employee dishonesty, water losses and
construction. His considerable experience in subrogation has resulted
in the recovery of millions of dollars on behalf of insurance companies.
With his expertise devoted exclusively to subrogation, Mr. Gerber's
efforts have contribute to Brown & James being one of the
premier subrogation practices in the country.
Throughout the years, Mr. Gerber has assembled a
network of subrogation experts to provide a “rapid response” team for large
property losses involving fires and other catastrophic losses and he has
personally attended hundreds of initial fire scene inspections to assure his
cases are built properly from inception through trial. He is an active member of the National Association of
Subrogation Professionals and a frequent guest speaker on property
subrogation topics, nationally and locally.
